Brow Lift

What is the Procedure?

In some patients, the redundancy of the upper eyelid skin is secondary to the descent of the eyebrows, in which case an endoscopic brow lift can solve the problem effectively.

The procedure is performed through very small and well-hidden incisions on the scalp. Either the entire brow or specific parts of it may be raised depending on the desired look. The endoscopic brow lift is done either alone or in combination with upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) or a facelift.

Dr. Aboolian performs most of his surgeries at the Multispecialty Surgical Group operating room, which is located next to his office in Beverly Hills.

What to Expect After Your Brow Lift

After a brow lift, you will have some swelling and bruising in the forehead area for approximately ten days following surgery. If sutures or staples were used, they will be improved during this time period.

Post-operatively, patients recover in our comfortable recovery room under the supervision of nurses and anesthesiologists. Most patients are discharged home after their operation with detailed instructions. For those with major surgery or multiple surgeries, or those requesting further care after discharge from the recovery room, there are private duty nurses to help you through a safe and comfortable recovery.

For out of town patients, he has access to some private overnight recovery facilities in Southern California that are specially trained to provide you with the best and the most conscientious nursing care.

After the recovery period, you can expect their brow and upper face to be smoother, and age-related imperfections such as frown lines and forehead creases will be significantly reduced after brow lift surgery.*
